AVULD

Compact tracking. Connected cargo records. Smarter ULD management.

The AVULD Smart Tracking System is a proposed connected solution designed to help airlines, cargo operators, and ULD fleet managers monitor container locations, link shipment records, and maintain digital equipment histories.

The concept combines a compact 90 × 50 × 42 mm tracking device with mobile barcode scanning and a cloud dashboard. GPS positioning, Bluetooth connectivity, and LTE-M/NB-IoT communications are intended to provide periodic location updates where supported by network coverage and operating conditions.

Planned Features
  • ULD location monitoring: View last reported locations, timestamps, and movement history.

  • Mobile cargo scanning: Link package or baggage barcodes to a specific ULD through a mobile application.

  • Low-power reporting: Use motion-triggered wake-up, periodic position checks, and configurable reporting thresholds to reduce unnecessary transmissions.

  • Offline record storage: Retain tracking records during connectivity interruptions for later upload.

  • Digital maintenance logbook: Record inspections, repairs, damage reports, and service history.

  • Fleet management dashboard: Review container availability, location distribution, and potential fleet imbalances.

  • Configurable notifications: Plan alerts for movement, low battery, and scheduled maintenance.

Designed for Efficient Fleet Operations

AVULD aims to combine location visibility and cargo resigned for Efficient Fleet Operationscords in one platform, helping operators locate equipment, coordinate repositioning, and organize maintenance information..

Development Status:

Concept under development. Features, battery endurance, connectivity, and reporting performance remain subject to engineering validation. Aviation deployment will require applicable compliance review and airline acceptance, including approved settings for flight operations.
